The RMI problem was so widespread and the need for a solution so critical, IIBOR assembled a team of experts including orthopedic hand surgeons, physical and occupational therapists, industry-respected stylists, metallurgists, engineers, and materials scientists. Together, they set out to design a shear system that would eliminate every condition confirmed to cause RMI—a system that would:

	Keep your fingers evenly aligned
	Enable each finger to exert even force on the finger blade, while allowing your thumb to remain in it’s natural position
	Change the thumb’s motion from an awkward up and down, to a natural “into and away from the palm” movement, allowing your hand to operate from a normal, comfortable position

The result is a healthy vascular flow in your hand and the elimination of internal pressure and muscle strain. And that prevents RMI.
