They each use a four finger design — allowing them to be worn like a glove (you no longer need to palm your shear, your fingers are free to work while wearing your Kagawa IIBOR's).

All Kagawa IIBOR shears redirect the thumb motion to its natural, toward and away from the palm, motion (the degree to which this applies depends on the style configuration chosen).
Picking the Right Tool for the Job
All of our Ergonomic benefits apply in greater measure to the Class B Orthotic styles and even greater to the Class A styles. Stylists’ are encouraged to select a Class A style for their primary shear and a Class B or Ergonomic for special use.
